Animal Surrender Request

Providing Options for Animals

Intake is available for owners who will foster the animal until a new home is found. We are maximum capacity and are unable to take any additional animals at our facility.

We understand that surrendering a beloved pet can be a difficult decision. Please be aware that due to limited space and resources, animals surrendered to our care may need to remain in your custody until an appropriate adoptive home is found. We are only able to accept animals with owners who are willing to foster the animal until adoption. We will work diligently to facilitate the adoption process, but your continued care is essential during this time. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we strive to find the best possible outcome for your pet.

What to expect at the appointment

Each animal will be reviewed and typically vaccinated, dewormed, and provided with flea medication, and a heartworm test. The animal will NOT stay at the resource center unless there is an extreme circumstance. Please remember your animal should be leashed or in an animal container (cats) for review.
