Important Information:
- Transportation: MARC provides transportation to and from low-cost spay/neuter clinics. Please arrive at the MARC office by 6:00 AM on your appointment day.
- Cost: Fees vary based on the animal’s size, sex, and procedure. Low-income residents of Marion County may qualify for financial assistance. Currently $65 for cats and $95 for dogs.
- Vaccination: Rabies vaccinations are included in the surgery cost for most clinics. Please ensure your pet has a current rabies vaccination or be prepared to have it administered during the appointment.
- Age Requirements: We can spay/neuter kittens and puppies as young as 14-16 weeks, and adult animals up to 8 years old.
